34c or 36b which is bigger

If you go up a band size, you need to go down a cup size to compensate the difference. Let's say you wear a 36DD and the band is too small but the cups fit. In order to go up to a 38 band size you need to go down a cup size. You would want to try a D in the 38 band, or a 38D. The 36DD and the 38D are the same cup size, the only difference is the 38 band is bigger around then the 36 band. Did you know bras have sister sizes? What this means is if you have a bra size that fits, but you want to adjust the band fit, you can find the sister size in a band size smaller or larger and get the correct cup size.

Remember, when you go up and down band sizes your cup size changes. For an example, a 32C and a 34B are the same cup size. The only difference is the band size.

The 34 is a bigger band size than a Another example, a 34B and 36A are the same cup size. The 36 is a bigger band size than the Here's an example of some other sister sizes. So all of these cup sizes are the same. The only difference is the band sizes. Let's say you wear a 34D and the cup and band feel too small. You'll want to try a 36D. This jump in band and cup size is one cup size and band size larger.

If your cup fits but you need a different band size. If your band fits but you need a different cup size. If both your band and cup don't fit. If you both the band and the cup are a bit loose, the band should go down and the cup capacity should go down too. Remember that with a smaller band bra, the same Letter cup size is going to be smaller. For example, if you are wearing a 34B that is too loose in both the band and the cup, try a 32B. For example, a 36B bra has bigger cups than a 34B bra.

So a 36B bra has the same size cup as a 34C bra. In reality, the cup size is almost meaningless without the band size. Remember: if you go up a band size, you need to go down a cup size, and vice versa. Ex: A 34C cup is the same as a 36B. During the bra manufacturing process the same exact bra cup may be paired with different band lengths to create multiple bra sizes.

The reason for this is that within each cup size A, B, C, D, DD, etc , as the band size increases, the cup size also slightly increases even though the letter does not. For example, a 34B bra and 36B bra will not only have different lengths, but the capacity of the cups will also differ.
